Wix Events: Understanding the Difference Between RSVP Events and Ticketed Events
1 min read
Wix Events allows you to create 2 different types of events, RSVP or ticketed. Make sure you create the right kind of event to suit your needs.
Important:
Once you've created an event, you can't change its type. If you chose the incorrect type, delete the event and start again.
RSVP Events
Create RSVP events when you just want to track who’s coming. Some examples of RSVP events are weddings, parties, community gatherings, and garage sales.
Ticketed Events
Create ticketed events when you want all event attendees to get tickets. You can charge for tickets or offer them for free. Some examples of ticketed events are conferences, workshops, concerts, festivals, and guided tours.
Note:
Selling event tickets requires a Business Premium Plan.
