Wix Vibe: Previewing and Publishing Your Site

If you haven’t connected a domain, your site displays a free Wix address. Upgrade your site to connect your own custom domain name. 

If you already have a Premium plan assigned to another site, you can reassign it to your Wix Vibe site.

If you purchased your domain from Wix, it's already set up with Wix’s name servers, so you just need to assign the domain to your Wix Vibe site from your site dashboard.

If you purchased your domain from another provider, you need to update your domain's name servers to Wix's name servers. Once your name server settings are updated and saved, return to your Wix account to assign the domain to your Wix Vibe site. 

Note: If your domain provider doesn't allow you to change your name servers, you can transfer your domain to Wix. This way, Wix becomes your domain host and your name servers are automatically set to use Wix's name servers.  

Name server connections are required for Wix Vibe sites. Connecting by pointing is not supported.

It's not possible to turn autosave off in Wix Vibe. Your work is automatically saved as you go, so you don’t lose any changes.

There is no limit—you can publish your site as many times as you need.

Keep in mind, there is a daily chat request limit. If you reach the limit, you'll need to wait 24 hours before submitting new chat requests to Wix Vibe.

The daily chat request limit is the maximum number of chat interactions you can have with Wix Vibe’s AI within 24 hours. It helps ensure fair usage and system stability. When you reach this limit, the chat will be disabled until the limit resets automatically.

You can restore and republish an older version of your site at any time. Learn how to view and restore previous versions of your site.

Keep in mind that your site's CMS collection data is backed up separately from your main site versions. When you restore an earlier site version, it does not restore your CMS collections. To manage collection backups or restore previous data, use the collection backup tools directly.

You can upgrade Wix Vibe sites to the same type of Premium plans used by sites created in the Wix Editor. These plans give your site all the benefits of an upgraded site, including custom domain connection, removing Wix ads, and advanced marketing and analytics tools.
