Building your dream website starts with the perfect prompt in Wix Vibe. You can get started with an example prompt, or dive right in and start writing your own prompt from scratch.
Before you submit your prompt, you can pick an AI design partner. Each design partner offers a unique look for your site, and you can switch between them at any time. After you make your choice, you’ll get a site blueprint based on your input, which you can fully customize before generating your complete website.

Choosing a designer
Give your site a unique look by choosing an AI design partner. From bold, futuristic visual styles to modern and elegant layouts, create a website that perfectly matches your brand and business.
Each designer's theme has a distinct look and vibe, and you can switch to a different designer at any time. When your site is generated, you can further customize your site's theme to dial in your look. You can also fully customize your site in the Wix Vibe Editor.
To choose a designer:
- Go to vibe.wix.com to start creating your site with Wix Vibe.
- Click Pick an AI Design Partner at the bottom of the prompt field.
- Click Select under your preferred designer.
- Continue writing your prompt.
Tip:
To pick a new AI design partner, click on the name at the bottom of the prompt field. To remove the design partner completely, click the X next to the designer's name.
Getting started with example prompts
Choose a suggested prompt below the prompt field to help you get started. You can add your own instructions to customize the prompt. If you would like to see more examples, click More Suggestions.
Alternatively, try out one of our example prompts by copying and pasting them into the prompt field:
- For a business: Create a simple site for a neighborhood café with business hours, menu, maps integration, and a photo gallery of the space.
- For a portfolio: Design a personal writing portfolio for me. I'm a content strategist, and I want my articles featured in blog-style samples, and a place for visitors to read testimonials and download my resume.
- For a blog: Make a cozy, reader-friendly blog about solo travel. Include categories like destinations, safety tips, and packing guides.
- For a landing page: I want an elegant landing page for my wedding. I would like customizable sections for event details, RSVP forms, photo galleries, and gift registries. It should be very easy to use.
Writing your first prompt
Create your perfect site by writing your own prompt from scratch. Tell Wix Vibe everything you need, from the type of business you're running to the tone of your site.
Write about details such as the business type, what you'll use the site for, and what you want your visitors to be able to do. You can also include any specific language or keywords to make sure you get the most relevant options for your brand.
Tips for prompt writing
Think of your AI prompt like a natural conversation. Write your prompt how you would describe your idea to a friend. Providing context can be very helpful too, so make sure to describe your business, audience, and goals.
There is no perfect length for your prompt, so long as you are descriptive and include everything you want for your site. Keep in mind, though, that a very long and complex prompt (or a short, vague one) might be unclear and the result might not match your expectations.
Here are some details to consider including in your prompt:
- Website type: Your business type, your blog, or your portfolio page. Let Wix Vibe know what kind of site you want and what you'll be using it for.
- Vibe: How do you want your website to feel? Friendly and conversational, cozy and comforting, or trustworthy and professional? Describe how you want to speak to your visitors.
- Function: What features do you want on your site? For a management site you might want trackers, schedules, and inventory. For your online store, you'll want product listings, testimonials, and a secure checkout. Whatever you need, include it here.
