Customize the fields inside your site and standalone forms to make sure they work for your business and are collecting the right information. Click into any form on your site to manage its fields, or navigate to your Forms dashboard to edit standalone forms.

Managing your site form fields
Gather the best information from site visitors by adding and editing your form fields. All edits to site forms are done in the Editor.
To manage your site form fields:
- Go to your Editor and click the site form you want to manage.
- Choose what you want to do:
- Click Add New Field above the form.
- Choose the type of field you want to add on the left. The main types are contact fields, basic fields and advanced fields. Learn more about the different field types.
- Hover over the field you want to add and click the Add icon
.
The new field appears on your site form. Click the new field to edit it.
- Click the field inside the form.
- Click Edit Field.
- Edit the settings of the field. Depending on the field you've selected you will see different options.
Change the design of a field
- Click the field inside the form.
- Click the Design icon
. - Select a design from the options available or click Customize Design at the bottom to update the field's color, border, shadow and opacity.
Note: Depending on the field you will see different design options.
- Right click the field you want to delete.
- Click Delete in the pop-up menu. You can also press Delete or Backspace on your keyboard.
Managing your standalone form fields
Edit, remove or duplicate fields in your standalone form in the Forms section of your dashboard.
To manage your standalone form fields:
- Go to Forms in your site's dashboard.
- Scroll down to Your Standalone Forms and click Edit next to the form you want to manage.
- Choose what you want to do:
- Click Add Field at the bottom of the form.
- From the Add Form Fields panel at the right, hover over a field and click Add. Fields are grouped by contact fields, basic fields and advanced fields. Learn more about the different field types.
Click the text box inside the field (usually next to Question or Placeholder) to edit the form's text.
Add description text above or below a field
If a field in your form needs additional explanation (e.g. terms and conditions or additional legal information for health waiver forms) you can add a text element. Your audience can only read this field and not interact with it.
Header text breaks up the sections of your form and Paragraph text allows you to stylize text with a rich content editor.
- Click Header or Paragraph in Add form fields.
- Drag the new field where you want the additional description.
- Add information to the text element. For Header you have the option of a subheading below. For Paragraph create bulleted and numbered lists or link specific text to an external URL.
Click and drag a field to move it up or down the question order of the form.
Click the Required checkbox next to a field to make it mandatory for visitors to fill out.
Click the Duplicate icon to the right of a field to duplicate it.
Click the Delete icon to the right of a field to remove it from your form.
