Make sure each language version has a translated site menu so your visitors can navigate around your site in their own language.

Manually translating your menu items

Rename your site pages in your secondary language, to ensure a seamless navigation experience for site visitors in their language of choice.

To manually translate your menu items:

  1. Click the Switch Language panel at the top of the Editor.


  2. Select the secondary language you want to work on.
  3. Click Pages on the left side of the Editor.
  4. Click the Show more icon next to your menu item and click Rename.
  5. Enter your translation.
  6. Click Done.
  7. Repeat steps 4-5 for the rest of your menu items.

Auto-translating your menu items

If you choose to auto-translate your site, your menu items (page names) will be translated automatically. Any additional pages you add to your site can be auto-translated from your pages panel.

To auto-translate your menu items:

  1. Click the Switch Language panel at the top of the Editor.
  2. Select the secondary language you want to work on.
  3. Click Pages on the left side of the Editor.
  4. Click the Show more icon next to your menu item and click Auto-translate name.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 for any remaining menu items.
