This is a list of passkeys that have been created for your account. You can view, rename, and delete passkeys here from a web browser. </div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Note: </strong>While you can create and manage passkeys from your account, passkeys are stored on your device only and not in your Wix account. Most devices allow you to search for all stored passkeys. Go to the settings screen or app on your device and search for 'passkeys'.</div></div></div></div><div data-component-type="collapsible"><div><h4 class="collapsible-title">What does passkey 'synced across devices' mean?</h4><div class="collapsible-content"><div>If a passkey is 'synced across devices', your passkey can be used from any device on the same platform and logged in to the same account. </div><div><br /></div><div>For example, if you create a passkey using an iPhone and the passkey is synced in iCloud, you can log in using any device which is logged in to the same iCloud account. </div><div><br /></div><div>If you use another platform (like Android), you'll need to add a new passkey for that system. Your new passkey can be used across any device logged in to the same Google account. </div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Note:</strong> Passkeys can also be saved locally. Local passkeys are labeled 'Only on this device' on your Account Settings page. A local passkey can only be used from that specific device. </div></div></div></div><div data-component-type="collapsible"><div><h4 class="collapsible-title">Why does my passkey not work? </h4><div class="collapsible-content"><div>If you have a passkey listed in <a data-composite="true" href="https://manage.wix.com/account/account-settings" target="_blank">Account Settings</a> which isn't working, it's possible you deleted it from your device. When you delete a passkey from your device, it still appears on your list of passkeys for your Wix account. Check that the passkey is still available on your device. </div></div></div></div><div data-component-type="collapsible"><div><h4 class="collapsible-title">What happens if I lose the device my passkey is stored on?</h4><div class="collapsible-content"><div>If you lose your device, you'll still be able to access your account by logging in using your email and password or social logins (Google, Facebook, Apple). You can also use other <a data-composite="true" href="https://support.wix.com/en/article/using-2-step-verification-for-your-wix-account" target="">2-step verification methods</a> to verify your identity. </div><div><br /></div><div>If your passkey is synced, you can use it from another device or restore it to a new device. For example, if you use an Apple device and your passkeys are synced to your iCloud account, you can use any other device connected to your iCloud account to sign in to your Wix account. </div><div><br /></div><div>If your passkey was saved locally, you won't be able to use it to log in anymore. However, you can still sign in using your email address or social logins.
