Save time by updating multiple products at once instead of editing them one by one. Bulk edits can be done in a number of different ways. Select the method that works best for you.
Making bulk updates to products from your site's dashboard
Save time by making a wide variety of changes right in the Products tab in your site's dashboard. You can update pricing, hide products, add and remove info sections, and much more.
To make bulk changes in your site's dashboard:
- Go to Store Products in your site's dashboard.
- Select the products you want to change:
- All products: Select the checkbox at the top left.
- Individual products: Select the checkboxes next to the relevant products.
- Category: Click Filter and select 1 or more categories.
- Select the change you want to make:
Click Export to download product data for the products you selected. The information is downloaded to a CSV file.
Note: Exporting data about digital products is not currently supported. You can
vote for this option.
Set your products to be visible or hidden in your online store.
Important: When you delete products, they cannot be recovered. Consider changing their visibility instead if you want to use them in future.
You can delete multiple products (up to 999) at once from your store.
When you create a product, it always has a price, and sometimes has a strikethrough price.
You can make updates to the product price, the strikethrough price, or both at once.
To update pricing:
- Click More Actions and select Change pricing.
- Choose what you want to update: price, strikethrough price, or both.
- Select an option under What change would you like to make:
- Increase by amount: E.g. add $10 to the current price.
- Reduce by amount: E.g. lower the current price by $10.
- Set new price: E.g. set the price to $50.
- Increase by percentage: E.g. increase the current price by 20%.
- Decrease by percentage: E.g. reduce the current price by 20%.
- Enter the amount, price, or percentage.
- Click Change Prices.
You can add a cost of goods amount to multiple products at once or change the existing cost of goods.
To change the current cost of goods:
- Click More Actions and select Change cost of goods.
- Select an option under What change would you like to make:
- Increase by amount: E.g. Increase the current cost of goods by $10.
- Reduce by amount: E.g. Lower the current cost of goods by $10.
- Set a new cost of goods: Enter the relevant cost of goods.
- Increase by percentage: E.g. Increase the current cost of goods by 20%.
- Decrease by percentage: E.g. Reduce the current cost of goods by 20%.
- Enter the amount, price, or percentage.
- Click Save.
Note: If you change their cost of goods for a product that has product options, all of the variants will have the same cost of goods.
You can add an existing ribbon to multiple products or create and apply a new one.
Apply a new ribbon to selected products:
- Click More Actions and select Edit ribbon.
- Click + New Ribbon.
- Enter the ribbon text and click the Checkmark icon
. - Click Save.
Note: The ribbon is added to the selected products and replaces any ribbons already applied to these products.
Edit or delete a ribbon from all your store products:
- Click More Actions and select Edit ribbon.
- Select an option:
- Edit ribbon text: Enter the ribbon text and click the Checkmark icon
. All products the ribbon is applied to are updated. - Delete a ribbon: Click the Delete icon
and then click Delete Ribbon. The ribbon is removed from all products.

- (Optional) Select a ribbon and apply it to the selected products and click Save.
Tip: You can also go to the
Products tab in your dashboard, select a product, and click
Manage beside the ribbon field to manage ribbons for multiple products. Learn how to
manage ribbons using the Manage button.

You can add an existing brand to multiple products or create and apply a new one.
Apply a new brand to selected products:
- Click More Actions and select Edit brand.
- Click + New Brand.
- Enter the ribbon text and click the Checkmark icon
. - Click Save.
Note: The brand is added to the selected products and replaces any brands already applied to these products.
Edit or delete a brand from all your store products:
- Click More Actions and select Edit Brand.
- Select an option:
- Edit brand text: Enter the new brand text and click the Checkmark icon
. All products the brand name is applied to are updated. - Delete a brand: Click the Delete icon
and then click Delete Brand. The brand is removed from all products.
You can add the same weight to multiple products and product variants at once. If the products or variants you selected already have weights, the new weight overrides it.
To change shipping weights:
- Click More Actions and select Change shipping weight.
- Enter a weight and click Save.
Tip: To enter a value that is less than a pound or kilo, enter a zero before the decimal point (e.g. 0.5).
You can add the products you selected to one or more categories. Additionally, you can create a new category.
To add products to categories:
- Click More Actions and select Assign to categories.
- Select what you want to do:
- Add to existing categories: Select checkboxes next to the relevant categories.
- Create a category:
- Click Create New.
- Enter a category name.
- Click the Active on your site toggle to enable or disable it.
Tip: Learn more about active categories. - Click Create Category.
Tip: The category is selected.
- Click Apply.
You can remove the products you selected from one or more categories.
To remove selected products from categories:
- Click More Actions and select Remove from categories.
- Select up to 5 categories.
- Click Apply.
Notes:
- You can also go to the Category tab in the dashboard to add or remove products.
- Products cannot be removed from the 'All Product' category.
Add, edit, or apply info sections
You can create an info section, such as a size chart, and add it to multiple products. To save time, you can duplicate an existing info section to create a new one.
If you already created info sections, you can update them. The update applies to all products - not just the ones you selected.
To create and apply info sections:
- Click More Actions and select Add info sections.
- (Optional) Create a new info section:
- Click + New Info Section.
- Add a title, an internal name, and description then click Save.
- Select 1 or more info sections.
- Click Add to Products.
To edit an existing info section:
- Click More Actions and select Add info sections.
- Click Edit next to the relevant info section.
- Make your changes and click Save, then click Apply.
Note: The edits are applied to all products that have this info section, even if not selected. - Click Add to Products to apply the updated info section to the selected products.
Remove or delete info sections
You can remove an info section from the products you selected or delete an info section altogether.
To remove an info section from selected products:
- Click More Actions and select Remove info sections.
- Select 1 or more info sections.
- Click Remove from Products.
To delete an info section:
- Click More Actions and select Remove info sections.
- Click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant info section. - Click Delete and then Delete again to confirm.
Note: The info section is removed from all products and cannot be re-added.
Making bulk updates to products using a spreadsheet
You can make edits to multiple products by exporting (downloading) your products to a CSV file. After making your changes and saving them, import the file back to your store. Learn more about
