Depending on your business you can add industry-specific sections to you app to better tailor its content for your audience. Choose a type of business below for some tips on getting started building your app.
Creating an app for an online store
Add a tab for each product category: If you have multiple categories of products, add a navigation tab at the top of your app for each one so it's easier for your customers to browse.

Go to your site in the Wix app.
Tap Manage at the bottom.
Tap Mobile App.
Tap Edit under your site name or the name of your own app.
Tap Screens at the bottom.
Tap Add New Screen.
Add a title for your first product category under Screen Name and tap Save.
Choose an element to add to this new tab. Recommended elements for stores include:
Images: Tap Basic Items and Image.
Product carousel: Tap Store and Product Carousel.
Content: Tap Basic Items and Content Box.
Customize the content of the tab. When you're done tap Add to add it to your navigation bar.
Tap Screens again to add a second tab for your second category.
Repeat steps 5-8 until you've created as many tabs as you need. Tip: When you're finished adding the tabs, tap Screens and Reorder to change the order of tabs in the menu.
Include a product video: Add a video element to your app and upload a video that showcases your products in a whole new way.

Tap the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.
Tap Add Element in the relevant location.
Tap Basic Items.
Tap Video.
Tap the Add icon to upload a video from the Media Manager, Video Maker, YouTube or your personal device.
Tap Add at the top right.
Add a product gallery: Showcase your store products from your own app and let members add items to their cart and purchase straight from the app.

Tap the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.
Tap Add Element in the relevant location.
Swipe through the Elements menu and tap Store.
Choose either Product Gallery or Product Carousel to display your store products.
Edit the new element using the options available.
Tap Add.
Add a 'My Cart' icon to the header: Add a shopping cart icon to your app's header so members can easily navigate to their cart from anywhere on the app.
The option to add a cart icon is only available for the Minimal header design.

Tap Change Header Design at the top.
Click Customize.
Scroll down and click the Show Shopping Cart Icon toggle to enable it.
Enabled: Your own app header includes a shortcut so members can navigate to their shopping cart.
Disabled: There is no shopping cart icon included in your own app header.
Tap Save.

Add online ordering and reservations sections: Add an ordering tab so customers can order meals and a reservation section so people can easily book tables from the app.

Tap Edit under your site name or the name of your own app.
Tap the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.
Tap + Add Element in the relevant location.
Scroll through the element menu and tap Restaurants.
Choose the element you want to include:
Online Orders: Customers can view your menu and place orders from your own app.
Reservations: Customers can book a table from your own app.
Enter a title for the new element under Element Title.
Tap Add.
Showcase your dishes in a gallery: Add a gallery to your own app of all your dishes to encourage customers to order food.

Edit the element title for your gallery e.g. 'Our Menu'.
Tap the Add icon at the bottom left.
Tap Gallery.
Upload media from your device or the Media Manager.
When you're done tap Publish at the top right.
Tap Add.
Create a custom 'Order Now' button Add an 'Order Now' button to your own mobile app's header to grab customer attention and make it easy for them to order a meal.
The custom button option is only available for the Detailed header design.

Click Customize.
Scroll down and enable the Show Custom Button toggle.
Tap the Select Action drop-down and select Order from restaurant.
Edit the text that appears on the header button under Button text.
Tap Save at the top right.
Tip: You can also add custom order buttons to a specific navigation tab.
Creating an app for bookings and services
Add booking specific sections: Add a bookings schedule, services list and performance tracker for clients to help them reach their goals.

My Upcoming Bookings: Members can see the upcoming services they've booked.
Agenda: A calendar with your upcoming services.
Services: A list of your available services.
My performance tracker: Allow members to track their progress through your class or course.
Edit the new element using the options available.
Tap Add.
Add an Appointments tab:Make bookings easy with an appointments tab that clients can navigate to and immediately reserve a spot.

Group List: Show all your groups in a list and let members join or create their own.
Group Carousel: Display your groups in a carousel and let members discover them one by one.
Update the element settings and tap Add.
Add Events specific sections: Add an upcoming events schedule, discussion channel and a list of event guests.
