Wix Studio: Switch to Wix Studio

Wix Studio is perfect for anyone who manages multiple sites or works with various teams and agencies. If you're an agency or enterprise already using Wix or Editor X, you have the option to switch your account to a Wix Studio account.

Note: Only the owner of the Wix account can switch to Wix Studio. If you are the owner of a team and you switch to Studio, your entire team will switch with you. If you're a teammate, speak to your team owner about switching to Wix Studio.

No need to worry! When you switch to Wix Studio, everything you've already done in Wix will come along with you, including your sites, contacts and subscriptions. You will also still have access to all the previous features you used (and more!) and will be able to create sites using the Wix Editor and Editor X, and of course, the new Studio Editor.

If you're a Wix Partner, all the progress you've made in the Partner Program will carry over seamlessly. Your hard work and achievements will be preserved as you make the transition to Wix Studio.

No, the Partner Program remains the same. We recently removed the need to manually submit sites, so all points earned are now applied automatically. Learn more about the Partner Program in Wix Studio.

Once you switch to Wix Studio, all of your existing sites move into the new workspace where you can view, manage and edit them as usual. 

For now, existing sites won't be migrated to the Studio Editor, but you can create new sites using the Studio Editor (or the other Editors - that's still possible too!).

Eventually Editor X will transition into the Studio Editor and we will enable migration.

No, if you want to create sites using the Studio Editor then you need to switch to Wix Studio.

Yes, you can manage a site created in the Studio Editor without switching to the Wix Studio workspace. Here's how:

Note: You can only duplicate a site from the Wix Studio workspace if you're the owner of site. 

Yes, for example, if you are invited as a team member to a Wix Studio workspace, but you use the regular Wix experience, you can switch between the 2 workspaces as needed.

Only the owner of the team can switch to Wix Studio. If the owner switches to Wix Studio, all team members will also move to Wix Studio.

If you are currently using the Wix app on a mobile device, you can sign up to Studio from inside the app and start your journey from there.
