Wix Media: Searching for a File in the Media Manager

Easily find what you are looking for in the Media Manager using the search box or search through all the files in your Wix account.
Important:
The Media Manager is site based so only the media related to that particular site shows up in the Media Manager. However, there is a "Wix account" option in the upload media section. From here you can access the media from other websites in your account and upload them onto the media manager currently being used.

Searching for a File in Your Media Manager
Your Media Manager contains files for that particular site you are working on.
To search for a file in your media manager:
- Go to your Media Manager.
- Click the search box at the top.
- Enter a search term in the search box.
- Click Enter on your keyboard.

Searching for a File Across All the Sites in Your Wix Account
If you can't find a file in your current site's Media Manager, it may be located on another site that you own. You can search for files across all of your sites and upload it to the current site you are working on.
To search for a file across all of the sites in your Wix account:
- Go to your Media Manager.
- Click Upload Media at the top left.
- Click the Wix icon.
- Choose a folder to view the media.
- Click on the relevant media to highlight it.
- Click Select files to upload.
Notes:
- The titles of the folders you see in the My Wix Account tab of the Media Manager come from the name of your site itself. To change the title of a folder, you must change the name of your site.
- Files uploaded by site visitors and site members are automatically added to the Visitor Uploads section of the Media Manager.
