Full Mode is the regular version of your Editor with all of our usual features, tools, and options. Use it to add elements to your pages, choose their position, and customize their layout and design. Learn more about using the Full Mode of the Editor
The Lite Mode of the Editor is a compact, streamlined way to update your site. Use it to add and manage pages, add sections, and edit your content without changing the design of elements.
Switching between Modes
Depending on your design and structure needs, you can switch between the two Modes within the Editor at any time. For example, choose Lite Mode to add pre-designed sections and edit the content of their elements, then switch to Full Mode to access advanced design capabilities.
To switch between Modes in the Editor:
- Open your site Editor.
- Depending on the mode you're currently in, click either Full Mode or Lite Mode on the top toolbar.
- Select your mode from the drop-down.
Using the Lite Mode
Lite Mode allows you to build your site's basic structure and adjust aspects of its content, layout, and design. It's extremely useful if you're just getting started with your site, or if you don't need to customize the design of elements.
