Wix Bookings: Rescheduling a Session

When a service cannot take place at the set date or time, you can reschedule it. Choose whether to send an email to participants informing them about the change.

Rescheduling an appointment

  1. Go to the Booking Calendar tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the appointment you want to reschedule.
  3. Click Edit.
  1. Update the date and/or time.
  2. (Optional) Select the Notify participants with an email checkbox.
  3. (Optional) Click Add note to self to add the reason for rescheduling the appointment (this is only visible to you).
  4. Click Save Changes.

Rescheduling a single class or course session

  1. Go to the Booking Calendar tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the class or course session you want to reschedule.
  3. Click Edit.
  1. Select This session.
  2. Update the date and/or time.
  3. (Optional) Select the Update participants about changes with an email checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

Rescheduling all future class or course sessions

If you offer a class or course at different times, you can reschedule all of these times. For example, if you have a cooking class that meets every Monday and Wednesday at 7:00, you can change the Monday class so that it starts every week at 7:30.

To reschedule when a recurring class or course session takes place:

  1. Go to the Booking Calendar tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the class or course session you want to reschedule.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select All future ... sessions.
  1. Update the date and/or time.
  2. Click Save.
  3. (Optional) Select the Update participants about changes with an email checkbox.
  4. Click Edit All.
Tip:
You can completely reschedule the times, dates, locations and staff members for a class by clicking Edit and then clicking Full schedule.
