- The Wix POS Go card reader is currently only available in the US, Canada and UK.
The Wix POS Go card reader is a versatile device that can be used as a standalone solution for selling with Wix Stores, or together with the Desktop POS or POS Register solutions. With its intuitive touchscreen, the card reader allows you to sell products on the go and accept both card and cash payments.

Using the Wix POS Go on its own
After setting up your Wix POS Go and connecting it to your site, you can use it completely on its own to collect payments without the need for your phone, or apps. Follow the steps below based on the type of payment you are collecting.

- When in your cart, you can tap Actions to add a custom charge, add a discount, or to clear the cart. You can also tap individual items on your cart to edit or remove them.
- You can disable tax for individual sales by tapping Tax on your cart and then tapping Disable tax for this sale.
Using the Wix POS Go with Desktop POS
When using the Desktop POS solution, the Wix POS Go card reader allows you to complete card sales initiated in your POS Checkout, or to charge for existing Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, or Wix Restaurants (New) orders on your dashboard.
Important:
When using the Wix POS Go with Desktop POS, make sure both your computer and card reader are connected to the same WiFi network.

Collecting payment with Wix POS Go for POS Checkout sales
- Go to POS Checkout on your computer.
- Use the tabs to add items to your cart.
- Click Charge.
- Select Card as the payment method.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- When the sale is complete, tap Send Email Receipt, or No Receipt in your card reader to complete the transaction.

Using the Wix POS Go with POS Register
When used with the POS Register, the Wix POS Go card reader performs the same as other card readers that are compatible with the system, allowing seamless processing of payments.
Important:
- When using the Wix POS Go with the POS Register solution, make sure both your tablet and card reader are connected to the same WiFi network.
- POS Register is only available in the US, Canada and UK.
To finalize POS Register sales with the Wix POS Go:
- Start your transaction in the POS Register tablet.
- Add items to the cart.
- Select Card as the payment method.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- When the sale is complete, tap Send Email Receipt, or No Receipt in your card reader to complete the transaction.
