Wix Editor: Troubleshooting Buttons

The text and icon for your button are set in button's Settings panel, however, you can choose to show or hide the text or icon from the Design panel. 
If the text or icon are not displayed on your button, but you would like them to be, do the following:

We created new buttons that we believe are superior to the older buttons in every way. They are better for SEO, they are more accessible, and they offer a much richer variety of designs. However, in order to get all of this, we had to change them at a fundamental level, making the new and old buttons incompatible. Therefore, the new design options do not work with the old buttons.

If you are interested in the new capabilities, you need to manually replace the buttons on your site. You can use the Layers panel to find which buttons need replacing. Old buttons will have the text of the button as the name in the Layers panel, and the new buttons are simply called Button. 

Delete the old buttons after locating them in the Layers panel, then add new buttons to your site. Learn more

Due to the limitation of CSS and some browsers, you cannot curve the corners on a button with gradient borders. We're keeping our eyes open for a solution that allows this.

The disabled state is a feature of Velo by Wix. You can associate an action to the button that may not be available in certain circumstances, rendering it disabled.
