Wix Forum: Deleting a Category

When you delete a category, all the posts and comments in that category are also deleted. If you would like to keep certain posts from the category, you can move them to a different category before you delete the original category. Learn more

Deleting a category from your Editor
You can delete a category directly from your Editor. This is a handy option if you already have your Editor open.
To delete a category from your Editor:
- Click the Wix Forum app in the Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Categories tab.
- Hover over the category.
- Click the Show More icon
. - Click Delete.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
Deleting a category from your dashboard
If you already have your dashboard open, you can quickly delete any unwanted category directly from your dashboard.
To delete a category from your dashboard:
- Go to your Forum in your site's dashboard.
- Click the Categories tab.
- Click the Show More icon
next to the relevant category. - Click Delete Category.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
