Completing Your Wix Payments Account Setup

After connecting to Wix Payments as your payment provider, you can begin receiving payments through your site immediately. However, in order for Wix Payments to send a payout to your bank account, you must complete the setup process within 30 days from receiving your first payment.

Important:

If you do not complete account setup within 30 days, your Wix Payments account will be suspended and you will not be able to accept any more payments through your site.
If you do not complete account setup within 60 days, previous transactions (if any) will be refunded to your customers.

Go to Accept Payments in your site's dashboard.
Click Complete Setup under Wix Payments.

Select an option under Business Type:
Note: It is not possible to switch between business types once you select one.
- Individual/Sole Proprietorship: Select this option if you are doing business as an individual.
- Partnership/LLC/Corporation/NGO: Select this option if you are doing business as a business entity.
- Regional account types: In some countries, other business types may be selected which align with local business definitions.
Depending on the selected business type, follow the steps:

Individual/Sole Proprietorship

Partnership/LLC/Corporation/NGO

Enter Your Business Information:
- Your legal business name
- Enter your "Doing Business As" name. This is how your business appears on customers' statements.
  - Your statement descriptor must be between 5-19 characters
  - Your statement descriptor must be similar to your business name / legal entity name /, or URL
  - Your statement descriptor should not be too generic (e.g. "Store"), or already in use (e.g. "Wix.com")
- Your company registration number / business number / Employer Identification Number (EIN) / Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
- (If applicable) Enter VAT / tax number
- Upload a company registration document to help us verify your business (Tax ID / EIN / Registration Number)
- Is your business 100% owned by a publicly traded parent company?
  - Yes: Select this option and enter the parent company market identifier code and Stock Number.
  - No: Select this option and move on.
Enter Your Company Address:
- Your business address
- Your business phone number
- Is the principal place of business address the same as the registered business address?
  - Yes: Select this option and move on.
  - No: Select this option and enter the alternative address and business phone number.
- If requested, answer whether the business phone number is the same as the business number for customer support?
  - Yes: Select this option and move on.
  - No: Select this option and enter the alternative business phone number.
- If requested, upload an address verification document, such as a utility bill, to confirm your address. The document must have been issued within the last 6 months
Enter Account Representative and Business Owner details (as the person setting up the account):
- Your country of residence
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Upload a Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License, Identity Card)
- Your address and phone number
Select the checkboxes:
- Do you own 25% or more of the business?:
  - Yes: Select this option if you're a shareholder with 25% or more of the company.
  - No: Select this option if you own less than 25% (or don't own the business).
- Do you have a significant role in managing the business?:
  - Yes: Select this option if you hold a position with control over company management (e.g. CEO, CFO, Treasurer, Chairperson, etc.)
  - No: Select this option if your position doesn't involve company management.
Click + Add Business Owner to add the following:
- Anyone who owns 25% or more of the business
- At least one person with significant responsibility over company management. Learn More
Enter your Bank Details:
- Enter your business bank account's details according to your country's requirements
- Upload a color copy of a statement, or other document from your bank, to verify your bank details
Click the checkbox to accept our terms and conditions, service fees and, if required, consent for identity check.
Click Submit.

Note: You can click Save as Draft if you’d prefer to complete the form later.

Verification Requirements:

Make sure you've written your personal and company information correctly:

Your first / middle / last name, and your date of birth, must match those listed in your photo ID

Your company's name and its registration number/tax ID must match the company's registered information
Enter a physical address to verify your account. PO Boxes are not accepted as a valid address
Your bank statement / document should include the bank logo, as well as your account number and the account holder name
Upload a document that proves the validity and ownership of the VAT ID/Business ID/Tax ID/EIN during registration
Confirm that the Legal Business Name, Shareholder and VAT ID/Business ID/Tax ID/EIN entered in the form matches those associated with your business bank account.

Sole Proprietor (United Kingdom)

Enter your Business Information:
- Your legal business name
- Your company registration / Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
- Enter your "Doing Business As" name. This is how your business appears on customers' statements.
  - Your statement descriptor must be between 5-19 characters
  - Your statement descriptor must be similar to your business name / legal entity name /, or URL
  - Your statement descriptor should not be too generic (e.g. "Store"), or already in use (e.g. "Wix.com")
- Upload a company registration document to help us verify your business
Add your Business Description:
- Use the dropdown menu to select your industry type
- Use the text box to add a short description of your products / services
Enter your Address Details:
- Your address and phone number (If you don’t have a business address, you can use your home address)
- Let us know whether your company's registered address is the same as the principal place of business.
- Enter Business Owner details (as the person setting up the account):
- Your country of residence
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Upload a Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License, Identity Card)
- Let us know whether your personal address is the same as the company's registered address.
Enter your Bank Account Details:
- The bank account should be the same account you use for your business. Enter your business bank account's sort code and account number
- Upload a color copy of a statement, or other document from your bank, to verify your bank details
Click the checkbox to accept our terms and conditions and service fees.
Click Submit.
