Wix Editor: Managing Your Site Pages

Rename site pages to improve clarity and navigation for your visitors.

Duplicate site pages to save time and maintain consistency across your site.

Copy and paste pages as needed between your sites, as long as both are in the Wix Editor.

Click Set as Homepage to make this your site's homepage. 

If you want to delete your current homepage, you must first set another page as the homepage. Then, you can delete the page that was used as your homepage. 

Click Hide   to hide a page to keep it accessible for future use without displaying it in the site's navigation.

To unhide, click the More Actions icon next to the hidden page and select Show .

Click Subpage to nest this page under another page. This creates a subpage (drop-down) menu on your site. Visitors can see the subpages when they hover over the main page on the menu.

You can easily turn the subpage back into a main page at any time. Click the More Actions icon  next to the subpage and click Main page.

Delete pages you no longer need to improve user experience.

Absolutely. You can change page settings, password protect individual pages and even create members only pages. 

The width of your site is fixed at 980 pixels. You can design your site outside of the 980 pixel borders, however we recommend that anything that you add outside of these borders be mainly decorative and not vital content to your visitors' browsing experience.

To delete pages associated with Wix apps (e.g. Wix Stores, Wix Events, Wix Blog), you must delete the apps themselves to remove their pages.

Yes, you can hide a page from your site menu without deleting it. This is useful if you want to keep the page content but don’t want it visible to visitors. 

You can add up to 100 static pages to your Wix site. The 100 page limit does not apply to dynamic pages, such as product pages, blog posts, and pages connected to your CMS (Content Management System).

It is not possible to download a Wix site or any of its pages as the editor needs to be in constant connection with our servers. As such, it is not possible to work offline or save site pages to your computer.
