Wix Studio: Selling Your Studio Templates in the Marketplace

Partners can submit Wix Studio templates to sell them in the Marketplace. Learn more about joining the Partner Program.

To get started, create a custom Studio template following our guidelines and submit it to the Marketplace. Our team will review your submission, a process that usually takes up to 60 days. Once your template is live and sales start coming in, you'll be able to track your earnings.

Our team reviews all templates submitted according to these submission requirements and guidelines. The process can take up to 60 business days. We will also send you updates as your template progresses through the review process.

When a client purchases your Studio template from the Wix Marketplace, a copy of the template is automatically added directly into their account under their Sites. This ensures that clients can quickly access the template they've purchased and begin customizing their website without delay.

Wix takes care of the billing process and payouts on a monthly basis. To receive payouts, make sure that you've connected a payout method in the Revenue Share tab of your Wix Studio workspace. To qualify for a payout, your total earnings must reach a minimum of $200. Once you meet this threshold, the payout cycle is net 60 days.

In 2024 we won’t charge any fees—100% of sales go to you. 

Currently, you can't make changes to templates once they are live in the Marketplace. If you need to update the details or price of your live template, please contact our support team at templates-support@wix.com for assistance.

Template purchases are updated daily.

Templates have a no-refund policy.

No, this is personal information that we can't disclose. When someone purchases a template, they have the option to contact the seller for support.

Yes, you can sell your custom templates anywhere on the web—whether in other marketplaces or on your own site. Once you've created a custom template that is ready and published, you can download a shareable file to distribute to your clients wherever you choose. We recommend that you carefully review our submission requirements and guidelines. Once the template meets our guidelines, you’re welcome to submit it again. 

No, you don't earn revenue share from templates; you earn from your template sales in the Marketplace. The buyer is the first owner of the site created from a purchased template.
