Wix Bookings: Canceling a Session

When a session cannot take place, you can cancel it and remove it from your calendar. You can choose whether to send an email to participants informing them about the cancellation.
Tips:
- Refunds don't issue automatically when a service is canceled.
- You can customize the text of the cancellation email.
- You can also delete services or make them unbookable.

Canceling an appointment
- Go to the Booking Calendar tab in your site's dashboard.
- Click the appointment you want to cancel.
- Click Cancel Session.

- (Optional) Select the Notify participant with an email checkbox and enter a message.
- Click Yes, Cancel Session to confirm.
Canceling a single class or course session
- Go to the Booking Calendar tab on your site's dashboard.
- Click the class or course session you want to cancel.
- Click Cancel Session.

- Select This session.
- (Optional) Select the Update participants about changes with an email checkbox and enter a message.
- Click Yes, Cancel Session to confirm.
Tip:
You can also cancel all future class sessions scheduled to take place on a specific day and time. For example, if you offer a yoga class every Wednesday and Thursday at 07:00 PM, you can cancel all future Wednesday sessions so that you only offer the yoga class on Thursdays. To do so, select the all future sessions option:
