Once you've created your Wix Payments Brazil account, you'll need to complete your setup in order to receive payouts.

Brazilian eCom regulations require online merchants to display a range of information on their sites to be compliant. This includes your business information, delivery and returns policies, as well as your CPF/CNPJ number.

Additionally, you'll need to upgrade your site to a plan that allows you to accept payments, publish your site and complete a test transaction to have your Wix Payments Brazil account activated.

Once these steps are complete, Wix Payments reviews your account. You are also requested to proceed with the identity review. If everything is okay, you receive an approval notification from us and you can begin to receive payouts through your online business.

Step 1 | Add business information to your site

Go to your editor and add the following general information:
- Products/services with their respective prices and details
- Company name
- Business address
- CPF/CNPJ
- Contact Information (email and phone)
- Estimated date of delivery of your products (delivery policy)
- Exchange, return and refund policies.

If you are selling physical products, include the following:

Delivery policy: Specify the minimum and maximum time that delivery can take, from the moment the order is confirmed.
Exchange policy: Advise if exchange is possible. If so, indicate:
- The deadline for the customer to request the exchange of the product.
- What condition the product needs to be in.
- What type of exchange is allowed (e.g. if the customer can only exchange for an identical product or with the same value).
- Who pays the shipping to return the product.
- What is the deadline for sending the product.
Return Policy: Advise if a return is possible. If so, please indicate:
- The deadline for the customer to request the return of the product.
- Which situations the customer can request the return.
- What condition the product needs to be in.
- Who pays the shipping for returning the product.
- What is the deadline for processing the refund.
Refund policy: Advise if refund is possible. If so, please indicate:
- The deadline the customer has to request it
- Which situations the customer can request it in
- What conditions the product needs to be in
- Who pays the product return shipping
- What is the deadline for refund processing
Contact details: Indicate which email or phone number the customer should contact to initiate an exchange, return or refund.
Payment methods available on your site: Inform your customer which payment methods you accept on your website (e.g. Credit Card, Boleto and/or Pix).

If you are selling services, include the following:

Provision of service: Indicate how the customer will have access to the service.
Exchange policy: Inform if exchange for another service is possible. If yes, inform:
- What type of exchange is possible (e.g. for a service of equal value) and what is the deadline the customer is to request the exchange by.
Cancellation policy: Inform if the cancellation of the service is possible. If so, indicate:
- What is the deadline for the customer to request it
- What amount of the amount paid will be refunded
- What is the deadline for processing the refund
Refund policy: Advise if refund is possible. If so, indicate:
- The deadline for the customer to request it
- The deadline for processing the refund
Contact details: Indicate which email or phone number the customer should contact to initiate an exchange, return or refund.
Payment methods available on the website: Inform the customer which payment methods you accept on your website (e.g. Credit Card, Boleto and/or Pix).

Notes:

Company information such as address, CPF/CNPJ, contact coordinates and estimated delivery dates can be displayed in the footer of your website.

Step 2 | Upgrade your Wix site

To accept payments, you'll need to upgrade your site to a plan that allows you to accept payments. For more information about our plans and how to upgrade your site, visit the Upgrade page.

Step 3 | Make a test transaction on your site

Make a test purchase using Wix Payments Brazil to enable your account verification. We recommend that you purchase a product with a small value, as we do not automatically refund this purchase (the minimum transaction amount must be R$ 1.00 for credit cards).

You cannot remove the test order from your order list. However, we recommend that you change the status to "Fulfilled" and add a note that this is a test so you can remember the test purchase in the future.

Step 4 | Verify your identity

After making a test purchase using Wix Payments Brazil to enable your account verification, we email you when it is time to verify your identity. Additionally, you see a prompt to complete an identity review in your Wix Payments dashboard

The Wix Payments Brazil team reviews your information and lets you know via email if your Wix Payments account is approved. The email is sent to the address associated with your Wix account.

Publish your site.

Publishing your website is essential for customer access. Include detailed descriptions and transparent pricing to provide full visibility of your offerings, which builds trust and enhances the customer experience.
