Managing Staff Hours
Staff hours are used to determine when a staff member is available to provide Appointments.
To manage your business hours effectively, Wix Bookings offers a two-level system. First, set your default work hours. For example, if your business is open 9 - 5 Monday - Saturday, set your default hours to reflect this. Learn How
Then, when adding staff members, either assign them the same hours in a click, or set personalized hours (for example, set a staff member's hours to 9 - 2 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Learn How
Syncing Staff Member's Google Calendars
To help staff members keep track of their schedule, you can, with their permission, sync their personal Google calendars with their appointments in the Wix Bookings calendar. Learn How
Assigning Permission Levels
Wix Bookings allows you to assign different levels of permissions to your staff and others who help build and manage your site:
- Staff Member: Add a staff member so clients can book services with them. Staff members do not have access to any part of your site.
- Bookings Staff Member: After adding a staff member to your site, you can give them permission to manage their own bookings in the Bookings calendar. Learn More
- Admin: Admins have full access to your site but cannot edit the payment info, delete or duplicate the site. Learn More
- Website Manager: Can edit the site, manage settings and apps but cannot access Inbox, contacts and other sensitive info. Learn More
- Back Office Manager: Can access all apps (e.g. Wix Bookings, Wix Stores, etc.), but cannot edit your site, access payment info, delete or transfer your site. Learn More
