Understanding Your Page's Default SEO Settings

2 min
Wix automatically adds default SEO settings to your site's pages so that search engines and social networks can better index and display your pages and information. These settings are based on the info in your site as well as common best practices for SEO meta tags.
Some examples of the default settings are the title tags and meta descriptions that are automatically added to your site's pages as soon as you publish your site.
You can customize your settings by opening the SEO panel and entering the text you want to appear in the relevant fields. Once you re-write a field's value, your new custom setting will override Wix's default setting.
