Wix Stores: Customizing the Order List and Saving Your View

3 min read
As your business grows, you'll perform different tasks in your Orders tab, such as shipping domestic orders, or preparing orders for local pickup. These tasks may be performed by different employees.
To save time and increase efficiency, you can customize what you see in the Order tab to suit each task and then save your view to access it quickly the next time you need it.
In this article, learn more about:

Filtering your orders

Filter orders so that you view only the ones relevant for the task you're working on.

To filter your orders:

  1. Go to the Orders tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Select one or more filters.
  4. Click Done.
The filters you selected appear at the top of the order list.
You can filter by a specific delivery region and rule (e.g. domestic - standard shipping).
To make the delivery filters easier to use, you can also go to a region in the Shipping & fulfillments settings and rename the title (e.g. change Region 3 to "Canada").

Customizing the columns in the orders tab

Customize the columns to see helpful info at a glance and remove unnecessary information.

To customize the columns in the Orders tab:

  1. Go to the Orders tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings icon  at the top right.
  3. Select the checkmarks next to the columns you want to display.

Saving order views

Save views you need to return to again and again so you can access them with just a click.
Save up to 20 views to handle different tasks or meet the needs of different staff members.

To save a view:

  1. Filter your orders and/or select the columns you want to display.
  2. Click Save This View.
  1. Enter a view name.
Tip: Enter a meaningful name that you'll remember (e.g. Local Delivery).
  2. Click Save.
It is not possible to edit an existing view. You can, however, save a new view and delete an old one.

Accessing saved orders views

The next time you go to perform the same task, select the view you need from the View drop-down.
