Wix Stores: Adding and Setting Up the Mini Cart

By default, Wix Stores comes with a Mini Cart which opens on the side of your page. Depending on your setup, customers get to the Mini Cart in two ways.
First, when the Cart Icon is clicked, by default it is set to direct to the Mini Cart. From there, customers can view items and then either keep on shopping or click View Cart to go to the Cart Page.
Another way customers can get to the Mini Cart is from the Product Page. The "Add to Cart" is set by default to direct to the Mini Cart.
Note:
The mini-cart does not appear in the mobile view.

Setting the Cart Icon Not to Direct to the Mini Cart
You can set the Cart Icon so that it goes directly to the Cart Page when clicked.
To set the Cart Icon to direct to the Cart Page:
- Click the Cart Icon
in the Editor. - Click Settings.
- Click the Settings tab
- Select Open full Cart page.
Setting the "Add to Cart" Button Not to Direct to the Mini Cart
You can set the "Add to Cart" button to go directly to the Cart Page or to stay on the Product Page.
To set the "Add to Cart" button not to go to the Mini Cart:
- Click to select the product gallery in the Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Under Add to Cart Button, make sure the Show Button toggle is enabled.
- Under When button is clicked, select an option:
- Go to Cart Page
- Stay in Product Page
Customizing the Mini Cart
- Click the Cart Icon in the Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Mini Cart.
- Click Text to customize the Mini Cart text.
- Click Design to customize the fonts, colors, and styles.
