Wix Receipts: Issuing Receipts

Once a payment is successfully processed for orders, invoices, or pay links, Wix Receipts allows you to easily generate and send customers a receipt, providing them with an official proof of purchase.

Before you begin:
Customize your receipts before you start issuing them to make sure they show your branding and contain the details you want to include. Learn how to customize receipts.

Issuing receipts manually

Receipts are PDFs created for payments you received. You can create receipts for funds collected through:
  • Orders: Paid orders generated through Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, Wix Restaurant Orders (New), or Wix Donations
  • Invoices: Paid invoice requests issued through Wix Invoices
  • Pay Links: Paid pay link requests issued through Pay Links

  1. Go to Orders in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the relevant paid order.
  3. Click the More Actions drop-down.
  4. Select Manage receipts.
  5. Click Create receipt
  6. Download, print, or email the receipt using the links at the top.
Tip:
If an order was paid for using more than 1 payment method, receipts are created per payment.

Viewing your issued receipts

You can go back to receipts you've already created to view them yourself or to send to your customer.

  1. Go to Orders in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the relevant paid order.
  3. Click the More Actions drop-down.
  4. Select Manage receipts.
  5. Click View receipt.
    Note: If more than one payment method was used, select the receipt you want to view.
  6. (Optional) Download, print, or email the invoice using the links at the top.
