Wix Member Apps: Customizing Your App's Design

Customize your app's colors and fonts to make it look and feel just right for your brand, making sure it stands out and feels familiar to your members.
Note:
Changes to your app's color and text theme affect all of your app's screens.

Changing your app's color theme
Choose a color theme for your app to set the tone for members using your app. Fine-tune individual colors to ensure consistency and enhance readability across different screens and elements.
Important:
Currently, changing your text, icons and background color is only available for the Branded app. If you're using the Spaces app, you'll only be able to change the primary color.
Dashboard
Wix Owner App
- Go to Mobile App in your site's dashboard.
- Select the relevant tab (e.g. Spaces by Wix app, Your own mobile app).
- Click Edit Mobile App.
- Click Design on the left.
- Click the Edit icon
next to Color theme. - Click Primary to choose a new main color theme for your app.
- (Branded app only) Customize the color theme for individual elements:
- Text and icons: This affects the main text of your app and the social icons.
- Background: This affects the background of your app.
- Click Save & Publish at the top right.
Changing your app's text theme
Choose a text theme to set the style and readability of your app, and ensure clarity and coherence across all of your app's content.
Important:
Currently, changing heading and body text theme is only available for the Branded app. If you're using the Spaces app, you'll only be able to change the main text theme.
Dashboard
Wix Owner App
- Go to Mobile App in your site's dashboard.
- Select the relevant tab (e.g. Spaces by Wix app, Your own mobile app).
- Click Edit Mobile App.
- Click Design on the left.
- Click the Edit icon next to Text theme.
- Click Change Text Theme to choose a new overall theme for your app.
- (Branded app only) Customize the text theme for individual elements:
- Headings: Choose a theme for your heading text.
- Body: Choose a theme for the main body of your text.
- Click Save & Publish at the top right.
(Branded app only) Changing your app's header style
When creating a Branded app, you can choose if you want your header to have a background color (taken from your app's primary color) or to have it transparent.
Note:
The header style that you choose here affects the minimal header type. Learn more about the difference between the header types and how to customize them.
Dashboard
Wix Owner App
- Go to Branded App in your site's dashboard.
- (1st time only) Click Get Started and set up the app.
- Click Edit Mobile App.
- Click Design on the left.
- Click the Edit icon next to Header style.
- Choose a header style:
- Primary color: The header uses the primary color that you set for your app.
- Transparent: The header is transparent.
- Click Save at the top right.
