Wix Forms: Adding and Setting Up a Subscribe Form

Build your mailing list with a subscribe form. Subscribe forms allow site visitors to sign up for your newsletter, special offers, business updates or more. Once they fill out the form they are automatically added to your contact list with a 'Subscriber' label.
You can also add a 'subscribe to mailing list' form field to any standalone form. Send the unique URL to potential subscribers rather than directing them to your site.

Adding a subscribe form to your site
Choose a subscribe form template that best suits your business. You can make it your own by adjusting the layout, design and notification settings to your needs.

- Go to your editor.
- Click Add Elements
on the left side of the editor. - Click Contact & Forms.
- Scroll down to the Subscribe section and drag a form onto your site.
- Click Settings.
- Customize your subscribe form settings using the available options:

Add a subscriber field to a standalone form
You can turn any of your standalone forms into an opportunity to build your mailing list. Add a 'subscribe to mailing list' checkbox, edit the text that appears next to it and decide whether or not it's a required field.
New Forms
Old Forms
- Go to Forms in your site's dashboard.
- Click Old Forms.
- Scroll down to Your Standalone Forms.
- Click Edit next to the relevant form.
- Hover over the Subscribe to mailing list field and click Add.
- In the new field, edit the text that appears next to the subscriber checkbox (e.g. I want to join your mailing list).
- Choose an opt-in method:
- Single opt-in: Anyone who selects the checkbox is automatically a subscriber.
- Double opt-in: This method requires a second confirmation action via email, in addition to selecting the checkbox.
- (Optional) Select the Required checkbox if you want to make the subscribe field mandatory.
