Wix Events: Canceling an Event

If you find it necessary to cancel a published event, you can do so in a few clicks. For ticketed events with ticket sales, you need to cancel the event and refund orders.
Before you cancel:
A cancelation email is automatically sent to registered guests to let them know about the cancelation - unless you disabled this function. First, check to see whether cancelation emails are enabled. To cancel an event:

  1. Go to Events in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the More Actions icon next to the published event you want to cancel.
  3. Click Cancel Event.
  4. Click Cancel Event to confirm.
To access the guest list of a canceled event, select Canceled from the Status drop-down. You can then select the relevant event and view the guests in the Guest list tab.
