The right-click menu is your shortcut to managing elements, sections, and groups throughout your site. With a quick click, you can cut, copy, paste, arrange, and customize elements, helping you build and organize your site faster.
Managing individual elements
When you right-click an element, you unlock a range of options to control its placement, duplication, and more. These actions help you work efficiently and maintain a consistent, organized site design.
To manage an element using the right-click menu:
- Go to your editor.
- Right-click the element you want to edit.
- Use the options to manage your element:
Copying or deleting the element
Pinning the element to the screen
Arranging the element
Tip:
You can also arrange elements with the layers panel on your site.
Working with sections, layers, and headers
The right-click menu also helps you manage sections and headers. In addition to managing elements, the right-click menu also helps to organize sections, headers and other layers. For example, you can quickly rename a section, move a section, or select a specific layer.
To manage sections, headers, and layers:
- Go to your editor.
- Right-click on any empty area within a section, header, or footer—just be sure not to click on any elements inside those areas.
- Choose what to do next:
- Rename section: Give your section a unique name for easy reference.
- Move section up/down: Change the section’s order on the page.
- Hide header/footer: Temporarily remove these elements from view.
- Move to hamburger menu: Add navigation links to a compact menu.
- Move to header: Add the element to your main header.
- For advanced organization, use the layers features:
- Select a layer: Jump to a specific element in complex designs.
- See all layers: View every layer on your page for easier editing.
Managing multiple elements
Take control of groups of elements by selecting and aligning them as a unit. Grouping makes it easier to move, format, or align several elements at once.
To manage multiple elements:
- Go to your editor.
- Hold the Shift key while clicking each element to select several at once.
- Right-click, and choose what to do next:
- Group elements: Treat several elements as a single group.
- Ungroup elements: Separate a group back into individual elements.
- Align to: Snap the selected elements left, center, right, top, middle, or bottom for a clean layout. the element you want to copy the design from.
