Wix Editor: Enabling and Disabling the Mobile Friendly View of Your Site

Choose whether to enable or disable the mobile-friendly view of your site.
Keeping your site mobile friendly ensures the best experience for your visitors: Your fonts and images are automatically resized for optimal view, and you can also add elements adjusted to mobile like a quick action bar, back to top button and more.
If you decide you don't want the mobile view, your site's desktop view is displayed on mobile devices.
Important:
  • Disabling mobile friendly might affect your SEO rankings and slow down your site performance.
  • Wix does not provide support for technical difficulties experienced when showing the desktop view on mobile.

To enable or disable the mobile-friendly view:

  1. Click Settings in the top bar of the Editor.
  2. Click Mobile Friendly
  3. Click the Mobile Friendly toggle to enable or disable it.
  4. Click Close.
