Wix Blog: Accessing the Blog Post Composer

The post composer is the tool used to create your blog posts. When you create a new post or edit an existing post, the post composer opens. It contains everything you need to create a blog post.
There are 3 different ways to access the post composer to write blog posts. You can access it from your dashboard, log in to your live site, or open blog in the Wix Owner app and compose posts on the go.

There are 3 different ways to access the post composer. Choose the option most convenient to you.

You can access the post composer via your site's dashboard. Open the post composer by clicking "Create New Post", or click on an existing post to edit it.

  1. Go to your site's dashboard
  2. Click on the Blog tab on the left.
  3. Click Create New Post.

Add a title to enable auto-save
You should always add a title to your post before you write the rest of your post. Adding a title makes sure that your post is auto-saved. If you don't add a title, your post won't auto-save and you may lose work if you leave the post without manually saving.
