Wix Blog: Changing the Author of a Blog Post

As admin of your blog, you can re-assign your published posts or drafts to anyone who has writing privileges:
  • Someone you have set as a writer. Learn More
  • A site collaborator with an Admin role. Learn More
  • A site collaborator with a Back Office Manager role. Learn More
After ownership of the post is switched to a different writer, you can still access it, edit it, and do anything you could do before. 

To switch the author of a post:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click to edit a published post or draft.
    • Create a new post. 
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select who you want to re-assign the post to from the Author drop-down menu.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • New Post:
      1. Click Save.
      2. Click Publish.
    • Edited post:
      1. Click Save & Publish.
