Wix automatically sends events to Google Analytics about your Wix Stores products on your site.

To start using Google Analytics with Wix Stores:

  1. Install Google Analytics on your site.
  2. Enable Enhanced eCommerce in Google Analytics.

The events you see in your Google Analytics account are:
  1. Product Impression: When a visitor views a product you offer.
  2. Product Click: When a visitor clicks on a button or link that redirects to a product page.
  3. View Content: When a visitor views a product page.
  4. Initiate Checkout: When a visitor clicks on the "Buy Now" button.
  5. Add To Cart: When a visitor adds a product to his cart.
  6. Remove From Cart: When a visitor removes a product from his cart.
  7. Start Payment: When the visitor is asked to pay (but before he adds his payment information).
  8. Add Payment Info: After the visitor added his payment information.
  9. Purchase: When a visitor purchases a product and is taken to the "Thank-you" page.

To see the event data in Google Analytics:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics.
  2. Click Conversions in the left-hand side.
  3. Click Ecommerce.
  4. Select the report you want to view.
Notes:
  • You can see all of the events by clicking Behavior and then Events
  • It can take a few days until the reports start receiving data.
