If you manage a Bookings or Restaurant business with multiple locations, Wix makes it easy to stay organized. Set up each location individually, assign roles and permissions, and streamline bookings and operations for every branch. This approach is perfect for service-based businesses like salons, gyms, and restaurants, ensuring smooth management as your business grows.
After adding new locations, you can provide collaborators with access only to the locations they oversee. For example, appoint a bookings manager for just the downtown salon, while a different manager handles appointments at the uptown spa. This targeted access allows each team member to focus on the responsibilities relevant to their specific location.

Set up your business locations for your
Wix Bookings or
Wix Restaurants site.
Assigning site collaborators to locations
Assign collaborators to the specific locations they manage. This allows you to control access, set appropriate permissions, and ensure smooth operations at every branch. By assigning collaborators to particular locations, you can:
- Control which locations each team member can access
- Assign roles that fit the needs of each location
- Customize availability and permissions for collaborators by location
Location restrictions only apply to site collaborators with Bookings or Restaurants permissions. Collaborators with other permissions will have access to all locations, even if assigned to specific ones.
To assign a collaborator to a business location:
- Go to Roles & Permissions in your site's dashboard.
- Click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant person.
- Click Manage location.
- Select the location settings for the staff member:
- All locations: Allows the staff member access to all current and future locations.
- Specific locations: Select the checkbox and choose the location(s) from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
