Filtering Your Contact List
Apply filters to your contact list to quickly find who you need. Filter contacts by labels, subscription status and more.
Create and save custom filters so that you can easily access specific contact groups when you need.

Applying filters to a search
Filter your contacts from the top of your contacts list. In the Filter by drop-down you can choose to filter by an existing label, subscription status, or a custom filter you've created.

To apply filters to a search:
- Go to Contact List in your site's dashboard.
- Click the Filter by drop-down menu.
- Choose how you want to filter your contact list:
- Custom filters: Any custom filters you've created appear under the Saved Filters section. Select a filter to search by it.
- Labels: Click a label to sort your contacts.
Note: For custom labels, you need to assign them to a contact first before you can filter. Learn more. Some labels are already included by default, such as "Contacted Me". Learn more - Subscribed Status: If you send email campaigns to contacts, you can filter by their subscription status. Scroll down and click Subscribed or Unsubscribed under the Subscribed Status section to apply the filter.
Tip:
Assign different contacts to site contributors and then filter by 'Assignee' to see which contributor is in control of which contacts. Learn more
Creating and saving a custom filter
Create personalized filters based on the data available for your contacts, including country, total spent, member status, and much more.
Show me a list of all customizable filters
To create a custom filter:
- Go to Contact List in your site's dashboard.
- Click Create New Filter next to the Filter by drop-down.
- Click the first drop-down under Custom Filters to choose the criteria for your filter. Depending on the selection you choose, the options in the following drop-downs change.
- (Optional) Click + Add Filter to continue to narrowing down the filtered results by adding more parameters.

- Click Save.
- Name your filter, and click Save.
Managing a saved custom filter
Once you've created a custom filter it is automatically visible in the Filter by drop-down menu. You can edit and rename saved filters at any time, and delete any you no longer need.
To manage saved filters:
- Go to Contact List in your site's dashboard.
- Click the Filter by drop-down.
- Under Saved Filters, click the filter you want to manage.
- Manage your filter with the following options:
- Edit a filter: Click Edit next to the filter and make the relevant changes.
- Rename a filter:
- Click the More Actions icon

- Click Rename and enter your filter's name in the text box.
- Click Save.
- Click the More Actions icon
- Delete a filter:
- Click the More Actions icon

- Click Delete and Delete in the pop-up to confirm.
- Click the More Actions icon
