Apply filters to your Contact List to quickly find the contacts you need. Filter contacts by label, subscription status, last activity, and more.

Ways you can filter your contacts

To view a specific group of contacts, you can apply one or more filters to your Contact List. Some filters relate directly to apps you've installed or actions taken on your site, so the filters you see may differ depending on how you're using your site.

Some filters include secondary filters. For example, if you filter Country/region to United States, a further Select states/regions drop-down appears.
If you'd like to store additional information related to your contacts, you can create a custom field (for example, date of birth). Once your custom field has been created, it will appear as a filter option.

To apply filters to a search:

  1. Go to Contacts in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click Filter at the top right and select the ways you'd like to filter your contacts from the available options.
  3. Click Done.

Saving and managing your customized view

When you've applied your chosen filters, save your customized view so you can return to it at any time. Saving a view saves your filters, customized columns and sorting.

To save or manage your customized view:

  1. Go to Contacts in your site's dashboard.
  2. Apply filters (see above).
  3. When you're ready, click Manage View at the top of your Contact List.
  4. Choose what you want to do:
    • If you've already saved a version of this view, click Save changes to save your changes. 
    • Click Save as new view to save as a new view.
    • Click Rename to rename this view.
    • Click Set as default view to see this view when you open your Contact List.
    • Click Delete to delete this view.
Any views you save will be accessible when you click the drop-down above your Contact List.
