Facebook Ads: Unable to Launch Your Campaign

If you are unable to launch your campaign, it could be for multiple reasons. You will receive an error message in the Facebook Ads dashboard with more details if your campaign cannot be launched. Find the issue that matches the message below.
Incomplete campaign setup
Make sure you've completed all the campaign setup steps necessary to launch a campaign, including connecting a payment method and granting Wix the necessary permissions to run Facebook Ads. Learn more
Facebook rejected the campaign
If Facebook has rejected your campaign, it means its content doesn't comply with Facebook's advertising policies. In this case, we inform you via email that you should edit your campaign and submit it to be reviewed again. Learn More
To edit and resubmit your campaign for review:
- Go to Facebook Ads.
- Click the Show More icon.
- Click Edit Campaign.
- Click Edit next to the relevant section to adjust it.
- When ready, click Submit Changes at the top right.
- Click Submit Changes in the pop-up to confirm.
Payment failed
If we weren't able to charge you for the monthly campaign subscription, we send you an email to check the payment method you've used.
The payment may have failed due to one of the following reasons:
- The payment has been declined by your credit card provider
- The credit card provided has expired or has insufficient funds
- The credit card details provided are invalid
- The credit card provided has not been approved for recurring payments
To resolve this issue:
- Go to Subscriptions in your Wix account.
- Click the Show More icon next to the Facebook Ads App subscription.
- Click Update Payment Method.
- Click This subscription only.
- Click Next.
- Check the payment method details used for the payment.
- If the details are incorrect: Enter the correct information and click Update.
- If the details are correct: Contact your bank or your credit card provider for more information.
- Go to the Facebook Ads tab under Marketing & SEO.
- Click Submit to Facebook.
Note: If the issue is fixed, your campaign will only go live after Facebook reviews your campaign.
Facebook account is disconnected
The connection between your Wix account and your Facebook business page can be interrupted for the following reasons:
- If you've changed your Facebook account password:
- Go to Facebook Ads.
- Click Connect to Facebook at the top.
- Follow the instructions to reconnect your Wix account to the Facebook Business page.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.
- If someone has removed you from being the administrator of the Facebook Business page:
- Get admin permissions for the relevant page.
- Go to Facebook Ads.
- Click Connect to Facebook at the top.
- Follow the instructions to reconnect your Wix account to the Facebook Business page.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.
- If your Facebook Business Page is not published:
- Publish your Facebook Business Page. Learn How
- Go to Facebook Ads.
- Click Connect to Facebook at the top.
- Follow the instructions to reconnect your Wix account to the Facebook Business page.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.
Premium subscription expired
If your Premium Plan expires while your campaign is still running, your campaign will be paused until you renew or purchase a subscription.

- Click Upgrade at the top.
- Follow the instructions to renew your Premium Plan subscription or purchase a new one.
- Go back to the Facebook Ads tab.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.

Site is no longer connected to a domain
If your domain and site disconnect while your Facebook ad campaign is still running, it will pause until you reconnect a domain.

- Click Go to My Domains at the top.
- Follow the instructions to connect a domain to your site.
- Go back to the Facebook Ads tab.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.
Note: If the issue is fixed, your campaign will only go live after Facebook reviews your campaign.
No products in stock
Your Facebook ad campaign includes dynamic ads that can only feature in stock products from your store. If there are no available products, your campaign can't continue running on Facebook.

- Go to your site's Store Products tab.
- Make sure you have at least one product in stock. If not, add new products when possible.
- Go to Facebook Ads.
- Click Submit to Facebook / Refresh.
Note: If the issue is fixed, your campaign will only go live after Facebook reviews your campaign.
Wix Stores app deleted from the site
If you deleted the Wix Stores app or your entire collection, your campaign cannot continue running on Facebook.
