Changing Your Site's Name in Search Results

The name that appears for your site in search results is the site name tag of your homepage. If you have not entered a site name tag, your title tag is automatically displayed. 

If you want to change the name that appears in search results, you'll need to change your og:site name tag.
Important:
Google uses a number of sources to automatically choose the name that displays in search results for your site. While your homepage's title tag can influence what Google chooses, other factors can influence it such as the content of your site, your site's heading tags, and the structured data markup on your site.

To change your site name tag:

  1. Go to your editor.
  2. Click Pages & Menu  on the left side of the editor.
  3. Click the More Actions icon  next to the homepage.
  4. Click SEO Basics.
  5. Click Advanced SEO.
  6. Click Additional tags.
  7. Click og:site_name and edit the Tag value, then click Apply.
  8. Click Publish at the top right of the editor.
Important:
Search engines will update your site name the next time that they crawl your site. If you want to try to speed up the process, you can submit your page's URL to search engines.
