Opening Your Browser in Incognito/Private Browsing Mode

1 min read
Sometimes, when trying to view or work on your site, the browser you're using can cause problems. To check if the problem is related to your browser, you can use incognito or private browsing mode. This lets you view your site without your browser remembering previous activity, helping you identify if the issue is caused by your browser.
If the issue doesn't happen in incognito / private browsing mode, then it's likely a local problem that can be fixed with the help of the Wix Technical Assistant
Open your browser in incognito or private browsing mode to check if the issues you're experiencing are related to your browser.
Chrome
Firefox
Safari
Edge
  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard (Cmd + Shift + N on Mac).
Note:
Wix no longer supports live sites on IE11. We recommend using a supported browser to view and edit your site.
