Removing a Domain from Your Wix Account

Remove a domain which is connected to your Wix account, but was purchased from another domain host. Your domain settings will no longer be managed by Wix. You can manage DNS settings with the domain host you purchased your domain from.
Important:
You cannot delete (remove) a domain purchased from Wix. Only domains that were purchased elsewhere can be removed from your account.
To remove a domain from your account:
- Go to Domains in your Wix account.
- Click the Domain Actions icon next to the relevant domain.
- Select Remove from Wix.

- Click Remove Domain.
- If your domain is hosted elsewhere, contact your domain host and ask them to disconnect your domain from Wix's name servers or point it away from Wix's IP address.
