Wix Forum: Performing Admin Functions on Posts

As admin of your forum, you can perform certain functions that regular forum members cannot do. 
Important:
To use the forum as an admin, you must log into the forum using the email address associated with your Wix account.

To perform admin functions on a post:

  1. On your live site, log into the forum using the email address associated with your Wix account.
  2. Click the Show More iconon a post.    
  3. Do any of the following:
    1. Follow a post (open to non-admins):
      1. Click Follow Post to get updates on a post's comments and likes or click Unfollow Post to stop receiving updates.
    2. Edit a post (open to non-admins):
      1. Click Edit Post to make changes to a post you wrote. 
      2. Edit the post.
      3. Click Update.
    3. Share a post (open to non-admins):
      1. Click Share Post.
      2. Select a share option.
    4. Pin a post:
      1. Click Pin Post to keep the post at the top of a category list or click Unpin Post to place the post in chronological order.
    5. Close a post:
      1. Click Close Post to disable answers and comments on this post.
      2. Click Open Post to enable answers and comments on this post. 
    6. Move a post:
      1. Click Move Post to move this post to a different category.
      2. Choose the category you wish to move it to. 
      3. Click Move Post.
    7. Delete a post:
      1. Click Delete Post.
      2. Click Delete to confirm.
