Wix Portfolio Request: Customizing the Design of Your Portfolio Gallery's Expand Mode

Currently, it is not possible to customize the design of your portfolio gallery's expand mode. 

However, you can set the expand mode's background color and fonts from your site's color and text theme. Keep in mind that customizing your site's color and text theme changes the color and fonts throughout your entire site. 
Workarounds:
  • To adjust the background color of expand mode: Edit Color 1 of your site theme's colors.
  • To adjust your media's title and description fonts in expand mode: In your theme's text styles, edit Heading 4 and Paragraph 2.
  • To edit the actual text that displays for your media files in expand mode: Go to your project and click Manage Media. Then enter the relevant text in the Title and Description fields. 
  • Alternatively, if you do not want to use expand mode, go to the portfolio gallery settings and select another option from the When clicking on an item drop-down.
