Wix Studio: Rules and Guidelines for Partners in the Wix Marketplace

We're committed to providing Wix users with exceptional service and quality results when they submit a project request in the Wix Marketplace. To help achieve this, we've established a set of rules and guidelines that all Wix Partners must follow. These include standards for response times, project completion, communication, and more. By adhering to these rules and guidelines, Wix Partners can maintain a high level of performance and help ensure that every Wix user has a positive experience.
Important:
If you don't follow these guidelines, your profile may be temporarily hidden from the Marketplace and you'll be notified in your Wix Studio workspace and via email.
Replying to projects requests
When you receive project requests from Wix or potential clients, it's important to respond in a timely manner to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. You'll be notified of new project requests via email and in your Wix Studio workspace, so be sure to check both regularly. To continue receiving project requests from the Wix Marketplace, make sure to respond to all requests before they expire. Keep in mind that project requests expire after 3 days.
Important:
- If you let 3 requests expire in a row, your Wix Partner profile is temporarily set as unavailable.
- If you let another 3 requests expire, your Wix Partner profile is suspended for 30 days.
- If you let 3 requests expire for a third time, you will be removed from the Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year.
Being unavailable for over 90 days
Being a Wix Partner doesn't mean working around the clock. You can set your profile as unavailable to make sure you don't receive leads while you're away, and switch it back at any time when you're ready.
Important:
- If you're unavailable for more than 90 days, your Partner profile is suspended for 30 days.
- If you're unavailable for 90 days twice, your Partner profile is removed from the Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year.
Lack of completed projects
The more projects you submit to Wix Marketplace, the more likely you are to generate leads. Submit at least 1 project every 6 months to keep getting automatically matched with leads and at least 1 project every year to maintain access to your Wix Marketplace account. You can also add the project to your Wix Marketplace profile.
Important:
- If you do not complete a project within 6 months, Wix will not match you with any leads until you complete one.
- If you haven't completed any projects within a year, you will stop receiving leads and your Partner profile will be removed from Wix Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year.
