  • FAQs
Duplicate your menu to create a new version without starting from scratch. This is perfect for trying out new ideas, customizing for different occasions, or assigning to multiple restaurant locations. You can choose to copy all items as new or use shared items, keeping them connected across menus for universal updates.
If you're using Wix Restaurant Orders (New), additional item settings like modifiers, variants, tax, and stock will also be copied.

Duplicating your menu

Duplicate an existing menu to create a new version without starting from scratch. Whether you're testing new ideas or customizing menus for different occasions, you can choose to duplicate all items or use shared items to keep them linked across menus.

To duplicate your menu:

  1. Go to Menus in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the More Actions icon  next to the menu name.
  3. Select Duplicate menu.
  4. Create a copy of the menu:
    1. Enter a name for the duplicated menu.
    2. (If relevant) Select the relevant checkbox next under How should the items be copied?:
      • As new items: Creates separate copies of all items. Changes made to the duplicated items won’t affect the original menu.
      • As shared items: Keeps the same items across menus. Updates to shared items will appear in all menus using them.
  5. (If relevant) Click the Choose where to duplicate this menu drop-down and select the relevant location.
  6. Click Duplicate.
What's next?
Check out your new menu, make any changes you want, and save—or keep it as is! Your duplicated menu is already live on your site.
