Wix Groups: Creating and Reviewing Membership Questions in the Wix Owner App

With the Wix Owner app, you can create membership questions for new group members to answer when they first join your group. Both site owners and group admins can create and edit membership questions from the app as well as review answers. Potential members can also join and submit their answers directly from their relevant member app, Spaces by Wix or Fit by Wix

Creating and Managing Membership Questions in the Wix Owner App

Create new membership questions, edit existing ones and choose which questions are mandatory for your members to answer.

To create and manage membership questions in the Wix Owner app:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.
  2. Tap the Manage icon .
  3. Tap Groups under Content & Community
  4. Tap the group that you want to create membership questions for.
  5. Scroll down to Admin Tools and tap Membership Questions.
  1. Manage your questions using any of the following options:
    • Add a question: Tap + Add a Question.
      1. Type in your question.
      2. (Optional) Enable the toggle next to Make this question required to make the question mandatory.
      3. Tap Create.
    • Edit a question: 
      1. Tap the Show more icon  next to a question.
      2. Tap Edit.
      3. Edit your question in the text field.
      4. Tap Save.
    • Delete a question:
      1.  Tap the Show more icon  next to a question. 
      2. Tap Delete.

Reviewing Member Answers in the Wix Owner App

Depending on the group's privacy settings you can review member answers first before approving or declining the request. You can also browse your member list at any time and see what answers each member submitted.

To review member answers in the Wix Owner app:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.
  2. Tap the Manage icon .
  3. Tap Groups under Content & Community
  4. Tap the group that you want to review membership questions for.
  5. Choose an option to review answers based on your group's privacy settings:
