Wix Blog: Promoting Your Published Post

After you write a great post, why not share in a beautiful email campaign? You can create your own email marketing campaign that showcases your latest blog post. This is a great way to generate traffic to your blog.

To send an email campaign for a blog post:

  1. Go to the Blog tab in your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the More actions icon next to the relevant post.
  3. Select Share Post.
  4. Click Create Email Campaign.   
  5. (Optional) Customize the email campaign using the available options (e.g. select a new theme or background, edit the text).
  6. Click Next at the top right.
  7. Select the relevant contacts or enter email addresses directly.
  8. Click Next at top right.
  9. Enter the campaign details: 
    • Subject Line: The subject line of the email.
    • From Name: The name that the email is sent from. This may be your business name or your personal name.
    • Reply-to Email:  If a reader replies, it is sent to the email address you enter here.
      Note: If you have not yet confirmed your email address, click Confirm Now.
  10. (Optional) Click Send Test Email on the left.
    1. Enter the email address you want to send the test to.
    2. Click Send.
  11. Select a send option:
    • Send immediately: Click Send Now.
    • Send later:
      1. Click Schedule.
      2. Select the send day.
      3. Select the send time.
      4. Click Schedule Campaign
