Wix Blog: Blocking or Deleting Site Members

Site admins can either block site members or delete them completely from the Wix Blog.   
What happens when a site member is blocked?
The member cannot:
  • Comment on a post
  • Follow a writer
The member still appears on the members page. You can unblock a member at anytime.
What happens when a site member is deleted?
The member cannot:
  • Like a post
  • Comment on a post
  • Follow a writer
All the site member's posts, comments, and likes are removed from your blog. The member no longer appears on the member's page.

To block a site member:

  1. Go to the Wix Blog on your live site.
  2. Go to the Members page.
  3. Click the relevant site member.
  4. Click the Show More icon  .
  5. Click Block Member
  6. Click Block to confirm.

To unblock a site member:

  1. Go to the Wix Blog on your live site.
  2. Go to the Members page.
  3. Click the relevant site member.
  4. Click the Show More icon  .
  5. Click Unblock Member
  6. Click Unblock to confirm.

To delete a site member:

  1. Go to the Wix Blog on your live site.
  2. Go to the Members page.
  3. Click the relevant site member.
  4. Click the Show More icon  .
  5. Click Delete Member
  6. Click Delete to confirm.
Tip:
You can also remove a writer if you have given a member writing privileges.
