Troubleshooting: Unable to Connect Your Hotel with TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor integrations are temporarily unavailable.

If you receive an error message in TripAdvisor stating that your property cannot be located in Wix's listings or if there is no button linking from your TripAdvisor page to your Wix site, please confirm the following:

Important:
After making changes in the Wix Hotels dashboard, it may take up to 72 hours for TripAdvisor to review and integrate your site. To check your current status, click the Promote tab in your Hotel dashboard or check the TripAdvisor site.
  1. You have listed your property with TripAdvisor. 
  2. Property Name: Full property name is identical in Wix Hotels and TripAdvisor.
    Note: State is a required field for United States, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Philippines and Italy. 
  3. Property Address: Your property address, including zip code, is identical in Wix Hotels and TripAdvisor.
    Note: If you entered multiple addresses for different rooms, each address must be an exact match.
  4. Room Rates: Rates for each room is identical in Wix Hotels and TripAdvisor. 
  5. Reservation Policy: Your reservation policy in Wix Hotels is not blank and matches the one on TripAdvisor. 
  6. Cancellation Policy: Your cancellation policy in Wix Hotels is not blank and matches the one on TripAdvisor. 
  7. Payment Method: You have set up either Stripe or Offline Payments as a payment method in Wix Hotels. 
  8. For Instant Booking only:  Instant Booking is only available in certain locations including Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore and South Africa. Check your eligibility on the TripAdvisor site.
If you are still unable to connect your hotel with TripAdvisor following the guidelines in this article and waiting 72 hours, please contact Wix Customer Care with the following information:
  • The URL of your hotel listing on TripAdvisor
  • Which service you are trying to connect (InstantBooking, TripConnect, or Review Express)
  • A screenshot of the error message that you received
