Setting up Your Payment Method in Wix Hotels

To start renting out rooms and collecting income, set up payment methods. You can also choose a hotel currency, set a tax rate and set deposits.

To set up a payment method:

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Click the Hotels tab.
  3. Click the Payments tab.
  4. Select a Payment Method and enter your details: 
    • Paypal: Get paid via one of the most popular payment gateways available on the web. Paypal supports registration from almost all countries.
    • Stripe: Quick setup and you're set to get online bookings. Supports registration from 14 countries and more than 100 currencies.
    • Mercado Pago: This payment is for guests from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. Guests are asked for their ID number when booking.
    • Offline Payments: Instantly get bookings from the web without a connection to a payment gateway. Guests aren't charged when they book online. They can pay in person.
  5. Enter your Price Settings: 
    • Currency: Set the currency for your hotel. Your room prices are displayed in this currency.
    • Tax: Set the tax rate for your hotel (if needed).
    • Deposit: Set the amount you want to receive upfront when guests book online.
      Note: This is only available for online payments.
  6. Click Save.
Note:
You can set up and accept multiple payment methods in Wix Hotels.
