Wix Member Apps: Adding a Podcast to Your Member App

Embed a podcast for your members to listen to on the go, directly from their member app. You can add a podcast player to an existing screen or create a dedicated screen for it.
Podcasts are pulled in to your site using an RSS link (Really Simple Syndication); a web feed that contains all the information needed to play your podcast. This allows members to access the podcast and its archives, and share episodes with others.
Before you begin:
Go to the settings section of your podcast hosting platform (for example, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, SoundCloud etc.) and copy the RSS link.

- Go to Mobile App in your site's dashboard.
- Select the relevant tab (e.g. Spaces by Wix app, Branded Mobile App).
- Click Edit Mobile App.
- Click the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.
- Click Elements on the left.
- Scroll through the top menu and click Podcasts.
- Click the podcast element.
- Choose what you want to do:
- Paste your RSS link in the Link to podcast field.
- Enable the Show title toggle to display and edit your podcast name.
- Margins: Drag the Margins sliders to adjust the padding for the button(s).
Note: Click the Edit individually icon
to separately adjust the margins. - General Settings: Click General Settings and under Element visibility, choose which devices to show this button on: All, Android, or iOS.
Note: You can show or hide elements of your site depending on what operating system your members are using on their mobile devices. Your elements are visible on all operating systems by default, but you can decide what to show on iOS, Android, or both.
- Click Save & Publish.
