Site Members: Customizing the Member Signup Form

A signup form lets your visitors register to become members of your site. There are 3 types of member signup forms to choose from; default, custom or Velo form. 
This article refers to the custom signup form which you can design to look exactly how you want. You can add any element you want to your form, and customize the form title, fields, background, button and more!

Step 1 | Add a custom signup form

The Members Area app comes with a default signup form. To get started, head over to the Pages panel to switch it to a custom form.

  1. Click Pages & Menu  on the left side of the editor.
  2. Click Signup & Login.
  3. Change the default signup form to custom:
    1. Click Member Signup Form (Default)
    2. Choose Custom Form from the drop-down under Which member signup form do your visitors see?
    3. Click Add to Site.

Step 2 | Customize the signup form

You can customize your form in several ways. Below are some ideas of things you may want to do to your custom signup form: 
When you are finished customizing your form, click Exit Mode on the floating Lightbox Mode bar.
